Broken link to App

Started using my Alta HR on Feb. 5th 2020. Was able to get it synced to my Samsung 7 and tablet using the Fitbit app. But this past Sunday the app stopped showing any sleep data. It has now stopped showing any data.

I did fully charge the Alta and tried resyncing to the phone, however it does not show up as a discoverable device.

My computer does recognize it, but when trying to connect, it fails. Message that pairing failed, try reconnecting.

Appears that the Altra is sending a signal but does not allow pairing.

Hi @MMMH2O, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

Thank you for sharing this information about the trouble you've been having to sync your data.

Before considering other options, could you please confirm if you already tried all the steps listed here to resolve syncing problems? Also, please make sure to check if the mobile device you're using is listed here as a compatible device to sync with the Fitbit app.

In addition, make sure to keep the Fitbit app updated to the latest version available.

Please keep me posted.

After two hours of trying to get the Altra to sync I removed it from all three of the devices I had SUCCESSFULLY synced it to.I then reinstalled it. The first three times I tried reinstalling it it connected, but then I was given a notice that the install failed. It stated I needed to restart Windows and retry the process. Seeing as how it was finding the Fitbit, I kept doing that. Finally it is now working and syncing with all three devices.I suspect a glich in the software on the Fitbit is forcing it to disconnect and deny reconnections.Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7.
