Charger help! Fitbit Alta HR 101

Hi , I think I have a Fitbit Alta Hr 101. I haven’t used it in a while and the battery is flat. I ordered a replacement charger however it doesn’t appear to fit.

My device has three horizontal dots and then two vertical dots below but the charger I received only has two dots.

Any help on where I can find the right charger  welcome

Hi @Raaaa  have the same Alta HR myself and am using the original charger that came with it. It only has two metal prongs or dots on the charger, despite having three dots on the actual Fitbit. Where did you purchase the charger? It should have a button on it to do the restart of the device. You can buy Fitbit accessories at the Fitbit online store upper right of this page. Sometimes these devices are left with a dead battery too long to return to life, too.

Thank you for getting back so quickly @Odyssey13 . I should have said I’ve lost the original charger.

The charger I bought was from Amazon and the two dots don’t even line up. The charger ones seems to come up higher.

Could you point me in the right direction of the charger I would need?

@Raaaa  you could check local authorized retailers in your area to get it faster. The Fitbit Store lists a charger for the Alta, but it doesn't say if it's for the Alta HR, so I'm going to ask a moderator to confirm it would work with the Alta HR. Here is the link to the charger.

The moderator would know more about that. Could be there is a retailer in the UK who does sell these @Raaaa

Hi Odyssey.. sorry to interject this thread .. I am based in Singapore and I needed the charger for my Alta HR. I have contacted Fitbit and they told me it’s no longer on sale online. The link which you indicated here is not working . I tried contacting all the authorized distributors in my country and they told me they not carrying this model as it’s obsolete. I tried buying those OEM ones but somehow they just don’t work! Do u know how else I can get the charger ?

Hi @Elainechan  the link was from March and it no longer shows the charger as being available. See if you can find one on Amazon, but be sure the charger unit has the button on it, which is needed to do a restart of the Fitbit. The Alta series was replaced by the Inspire series, which was then replaced by the Inspire 2. So you might need to go to eBay or any third party retailers to find the right charger unit.
