Hey Guys,
I have had my Alta HR for about 3 years now. I know when you are in the sunlight outside that it tends to be hard to see but I've noticed lately that even when inside that I can barely see what is displaying on the screen unless i am in pitch black darkness. It most definitely is not as bright as it used to be. Is there any way to overcome this or is it just on it's last legs? (which if it is on it's last legs is not really good enough TBH). I have tried resetting 3 and 4 times but no change. Please help!

Hi @AimzlyH, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for restarting your Alta HR prior to posting, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. Since you already tried our restart process to no avail, Let me share with you that our Customer Support team was contacted on your behalf to provide you with further assistance regarding the difficulties you're currently experiencing. That said, please keep an eye on your email inbox because they'll be in touch with you pretty soon.

I had the same problem with my Alta. It became so dim I could not see it inside the house unless in a dark room. I bought another brand with a larger face so I can always read it. The sleep analysis is awful on the new watch so I still wear the Fitbit to sleep. In a dark room I have no problem reading the time. I have had the Fitbit less than 2 years.

I hadn’t used my fit bit in a few months. Depression sucks. I can barely see the display. I had to rest and forget it to get it to work. I have issues with my eyes as it is. Is there a way to fix this? I haven’t had it a year yet and I can’t afford to replace it especially now. Husband will be laid off Friday. I’m disabled and don’t get checks until 11/2022.

Is there a way to make the display brighter for the sunlight? My fitbit is useless to me when I walk outside.

I have an Altra HR and my display is too dim to see outside during the daytime. I reset it and there was no change.

I'm the same! Its my second fitbit and my last! I don't expect it to start dimming for no reason after a couple off years to the point I have to read it under my bedsheets in the dark!! Very disappointing and a common problem that Fitbit don't seem to be addressing as they want you to buy a new one!!

I am so disappointed—my display is also unreadable. I like to walk with my tracker only, no phone, but I can no longer see anything—time, steps, nothing—even after resetting. How to fix?
