Tried everything suggested and NOTHING worked. Ended up taking the 35% off buying another device from customer service but not really happy with that. Never got an answer to why the display dimmed yet it seemed to be an issue with more people than just me!!

Hi @Murdy25 The screen dimming on the Alta series seems to be age related and once it starts there there is nothing you can do apart from restarting the tracker. If that doesn't help then it is unfortunately dying. The Alta has been discontinued for several years so I gather your Alta must be getting a bit old for an electronic device. Just one of those things I'm afraid.
