I changed my phone and provider to Google Fi. 

 

Ever since my Alta HR has had issues syncing. 

After struggling and getting frustrated I started playing to diagnose the issue and have found that whenever I am connected on the VPN which comes with Fi, the sync can take 5 mis to work, or fails. Similar behavior with food search, it takes 5 mins, not just feels like, I timed it, or it fails.

 

However, even if sync or search is running before I turn off VPN as soon as the VPN is off, the requested operation completes without issue.

 

Thoughts anyone?

 

Don't really want to disable VPN every time I use the Fitbit app.
