Tried to setup a new Alta HR today. the app says a firmware updated is needed. Every time the update on the Alta HR starts, an exclamation mark appears. I shut off and restarted my bluetooth, deleted and then downloaded the fitbit app on my phone, but nothing works. Firmware will not update on the fitbit. What else can I try?

You may be having a similar problem as Android 11 users:

 

I have an Alta HR and Pixel 3. Everything worked fine until Android 11. Now the Fitbit won't sync.

 

Bought an Inspire 2, and it works fine. Don't like the Inspire 2, so bought a brand new Alta HR.

 

It won't update firmware, because it keeps losing sync. So far, Fitbit has not provided any solution, fix, or timeline to fix.
