Trying to help my mother sync her Alta HR to her phone, shocked at how un-user friendly it is. She used it for months with the same phone, stopped using it for a few months and now it’s apparently just an overpriced wrist accessory.
Have tried restarting the device 3 times in a row, restarting the phone, disconnecting Bluetooth. Everything that has been suggested and nothing will work.
Can get to the point where the device gives the 4 digit code and can never make it any further.
Not impressed one bit, any help is appreciated.

Same problem here. Are you using Android 10?

I was having the same trouble syncing my fitbit. I found an update for the fitbit app that was waiting in the play store. After the update my first synced. Hope this works for you.

Checked for an update but nothing was available, thanks for the help though! Glad you got yours working again!

Try disconnecting from Wifi and using the mobile data network. When I do this the fitbit will sync. But as soon as I connect back to Wifi it stops working. Very odd indeed.

Mine stopped connecting by Bluetooth to all devices. I’ve tried resetting, updating app, with WiFi off and on none of it helps. 😞
