Heart rate inaccurate

I am sitting here working at may computer and I look at my Alta to see my HR is 133, 139, 145. I actually do have issues with my heart rate so this startled me as I didn't feel a thing.

The readings on my pulseoxometer, blood pressure cuff, and manually on my wrist and carotid were in the 70s.

30 minutes later my fit bit is still reading in accurately high. I took it off. I cleaned the sensors with an alcohol wipe. It did jump down to 109 but then back up to the 120s 130s. Consistently when I check via other methods the Fitbit is reading 30-50 BPM higher.

Is my Alta just going bonkers? I have had it for 4 years and I wear it constantly.

I would say that your Alta is going bonkers, the Alta doesnt have the option to read the heart rate. Are you sure that you dont have an Alta HR, @LindalooM?

Have you tried a restart?
