Hi,

We both have an fitbit alta hr. Mine is connected to my smartphone, my partner’s one connected to our tablet we both use. We ‘ve just bought a new tablet. By setting up/installing the tablet I made a mistake, I linked my alta hr to the tablet. I don’t find the solution to switch to my partner’s id and all its details/data. How to solve this mix-up? Thank you for the response.

Fitbit data does not reside primarily on tablet or smartphone.  It is stored on the main Fitbit database at every sync;  then some data gets downloaded to the phone/tablet when you open the app there.  Whose data you see just depends on which fitbit ID you use to log into the Fitbit app.  Either one of you could log into the Fitbit app on any smart phone or tablet and see your own data.

So you just have to log out of the Fitbit app on the tablet, and then log back into the app with partner's fitbit ID/email.

You probably also want to go into the tablet's bluetooth settings; if your Fitbit device is paired there, unpair it so there won't be any confusion about notifications.

I'm not clear on how you want it.  Who do you want set up to which device?  Do you have 2 people on one device and you want to remove one of them?  Or do want both people on same device?

Actually you can have anyone connected to any device.  But you have to be logged in to your own account.  If you have 2 people on one device, you would have to keep logging out of one account and into the other.

Hi

I have two devices, a tablet and a smartphone.

My fitbit data is on the smartphone, my partner’s fitbit data on the tablet.

I bought a new tablet and all general data, pictures & apps were transferred (from old to new tablet).
When opening the fitbit app on the new tablet I entered by mistake my name and email address instead of my partner’s, so now my fitbit data is on the tablet, my partner’s fitbit data is not shown.

How do I change this, meaning deleting my name and data on the tablet and changing it by his? Without losing fitbit history and data on the tablet (his) and on the smartphone (mine)?
