I always thought my GPS was pretty accurate until I recently started walking with my husband only to find that I reach 1 mile about 1/3 mile before him! I have also compared it to Apple Health and it is way off. Also, 6 out of 7 days I get the poor GPS connection message, regardless of the weather. It used to work great with good accuracy. Any suggestions because I think I will have to ditch my FitBit for something that works! Sad as I have been a FitBit user for many years.

Alta does not have GPS so its coming from your phone not the Alta
Also your strides are different dont ever expect to match what he does

Thanks for your response. You are correct I am measuring my walks using my phone. I do not usually rely on my actual Fitbit to record the distance of my walks as I would like more accuracy and information. However it is not getting the distance of my walks right. When I finish it shows the correct route.
