Overheated from sun exposure

I believe my Alta Fitbit overheated in the sun. I charged it and it charged up and the screen works when charging. The battery was full too but when you take it off the charger it goes black and doesn't turn on. Suggestions?

Hi @Epeterson Try restarting your Alta several times, fully charge it and try it off the charger. If it still doesn't work off the charger then it is dying. Sorry.
