Hello, I am about to purchase a new fitbit and would like to know if there is somewhere I can send my old alta hr fitbit for recycling?

Hello @TZier and welcome to the Community.  Thank you for not tossing your old Fitbit in the trash.  Rechargeable batteries should not go in regular trash.  Check your local area for recycling tips.  Some hardware stores, like Home Depot in the US, have battery drop off bins.  My county has a hazardous waste drop off for all kinds of hazardous waste.
