Screen too dark

My brand new alta HR screen is so dark I can barely read it. Super annoying 😑

Hi @Mischief0624 brand new? The Alta HR and Alta were discontinued in March 2019. I had the Alta HR myself and there was no way to make the screen brighter, as there is in the Inspire series which replaced them. You can try a restart of the device but that might not do anything to hep you see it. My Alta HR began to dim after two years of use, so I replaced it.

Exactly the question I had.  The screen on my Alta hR burned out, and I bought a replacement because I did not want to change at this time.  The new ATA I swear, is not as bright as my old one pre screen burnout.  Even fully charged.  I was hoping there was a way to adjust.

@Lynnemhallthe age of the battery might have something to do with the dim screen, but I'm not sure. I just know my own grew dim over time and I got mine new when it was first being made. There is no way of knowing how old a device is or how it was stored, even when it's still packaged.
