Starting September 8th, I begin receiving a message on the fitbit app stating that my tracker could not get a consistent heart rate and I'm getting simplified sleep details.
This had not happened once before September 8th, and has happened every night since September 8th. Tried restarting the device a few times to no avail.
Anyone else have this issue?

Still can't get sleep details.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Hello and welcome @cubixy2k
I understand your having trouble seeing only simplified sleep scores. I also noted the you have two post asking questions in to different forums. I’m moving this post to your post in the Alta HR. Please reframe from cross posting. Please refer to the community guidelines if you have any questions.

Hello again @cubixy2k
I apologize for the slow response. I had more time now to review your post and it appears as if you have already involved all troubleshooting steps that could possibly resolve your issues. My only suggestion would be to completely uninstall the Fitbit App then reinstall it. Once you reinstall the Fitbit app just log on to the Fitbit app as you normally would with your email address and password. I would shut down your device after the uninstall then restart the device for the reinstall. You will not lose any data doing this.
😃Hopefully that will resolve your issue. Keep me updated

I am having the same issues. I have tried deleting app and re-installing. Tried turning Fitbit off and on. I have tried all suggestions numerous times. I have been following these threads on the community forums and so far no help from the Fitbit Team or the suggestions here. I am left to think that Fitbit is turning out a poor product with no desire or concern to keep the their products running. My issues started before the latest iOS update. At this time I can only encourage friends and family to not look at Fitbit as a good product for health tracking

Hello @JaniceH8 and welcome to the conversation. I’m sorry you feel the way you do. I’m sure your friends on Fitbit will miss you but I understand your frustration. As I have reviewed your previous post I see that you are aware that Fitbit is aware of some of the issues you have and at this time all I can say is that the Fitbit Team is working hard to resolve such issues. I’m sure that the iOS 13 slamming out three consecutive updates in a very close timeframe did not help issue either. I have no timeframe I can offer you in reference to when this will be fixed. With that said I can’t offer any other help at this time.

So after uninstalling and restarting everything, I still don't get detailed sleep measurements. Anything else I can try?
I will add that I have an iPhone SE, not sure if that has something to do with it.

Hello again @cubixy2k
I see your still getting simplified sleep. I did check your phone’s compatibility and it is indeed compatible. The only thing I can think of is to switch your heart rate monitor on your Alta HR to the “On” position instead of auto. Also let’s change your syncing to all day sync.
Heres how to alter Heart Rate settings:
open Fitbit app
tap profile picture
scroll down an tap Alta HR
then tap heart rate
Set heart rate to “on” position
How to turn on all day sync:
open Fitbit app
tap profile picture
scroll down an tap Alta HR
scroll down and enable “all day sync”
😃 Hopefully this does the trick. Please come back and let me know after you sleep one night with the new settings.

Hello again @cubixy2k
I really appreciate your response back to me. I was unaware that this was a current issue. I appreciate the heads up and understanding of the situation. I’m going to mark your response as the best answer to the original question. Although it may be that a fix is coming but knowing what’s going on is certainly an answer that will help others.
😃 Again, thank you and keep me posted

Are you still experiencing this? I started having the same problem on December 5. Very frustrating as detailed sleep data is one of the few aspects of my Alta HR that I prefer to an Apple Watch.

Oh, now my Heart Rate (indicator) has gone sky high. Then it is not registering at all. Let's just say the Alta HR is unreliable at this point. Sad.

I have the same problem after going from a Charge 3 to a Versa 2. Once every week or two the Charge 3 only showed simplified sleep data. The Versa 2 has never given the detailed data no matter what i have tried.
