Sleep tracking accuracy issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

In the sleep portion of my app, it just recently switched and now says I'm going to bed in the afternoon and waking up in the middle of the night!  The time zone is correct, and yesterday everything time-wise was correct.  This morning, everything changed.

Is anyone else having this problem?  Thanks!

Hi @izandot, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post, seems odd that you're experiencing such issue. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if you experienced this issue in the past? Which mobile device are you using to check the Fitbit app? If you haven't already done so, I suggest you you restart your Alta and try wearing it on your non-dominant hand when you're going to sleep.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for your reply.  To answer your question, no, it never happened before.  Approximately two days after your message, it magically went back to reporting sleep times correctly!  I was about to take a screenshot that morning and noticed it was normal again.  I don't know if my app updated or what.

If it happens again, I'll immediately take a screenshot and post it.

Again, thank you!

Alright, it started doing it again, and now, after trying (successfully?  Can't tell exactly) to reset my Alta, it's not tracking my sleep at all, but everything else is working.  Is my Alta dying?

Here's a screenshot of what was going on - as noted before, it was giving the times I went to bed as

afternoon, even though it was evening.  Really odd.
