My Alta HR took 8 hours to charge. Is that normal?

Hi @Cardiojunkie It sounds a long time, but it depends on what charger you are using and what usb slot. Is this a new device for you, or was it previously charging quicker? Try cleaning the ,etalon contacts on the Alta HR and the chargerb with an alcohol wipe and try a different USB slot or wall charger. Also have a read of THIS Help Article on charging problems.
