Waited for correction to synch issue. Soon as update was up, downloaded to my Samsung. No difference. Issue has me ready just get rid of my surge. Not worth
the constant synch issues.

Same wonderful performance by Fitbit developers, its what you come to expect after a while, they break it and then go silent on a timescale to fix.

I noticed my Versa wasnt synching from midday Wednesday. I updated to 2.77 on my iPhone and it still isn’t synching. No calories, steps, sleep info, heart rate info. Nothing at all! Really annoying. Please fix it!

The latest app release was designed to fix the issue with steps not showing in the app. I'm not aware of any intent for it to address syncing problems which are usually local issues that can be resolved without the need for an app update.
If you have syncing issues I would try restarting your phone and then restarting your fitbit using this procedure:

Give this a few tries as it doesn't always work. You might also try forgetting the fitbit in your phone's bluetooth settings. If it still won't sync after that then there are some more ideas to try in this help file: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/
As it says in that troubleshooting guide, if none of the suggestions work then it's time to contact customer support via: contact.fitbit.com

Hi @SteveH my husbands Surge had the problems with steps and hr display from the 2.76 update and then after 2.76.1 it stopped synching. This morning 2.77 appeared in the app store. So I updated the app for him, put the surge on charge and reset it and managed to get it to synch. The only times he's had issues with synching there has been an iffy update.
I'll have to wait until he gets back from work tomorrow to find out if it is still behaving itself.
