Have been using my new charge 3 since Christmas but have noticed my 7 day log is empty. Why is this?

Hey there @LynneMT69, it's nice to see you around here! While reading your post I was wondering if you stopped syncing your Charge 3 for a while?
I believe the number you're referring to is the one on your leaderboard. This is a reflection of your last 7 days, or more precisely, today + the preceding six days.
Based on this I'd like to clarify that the Fitbit week gives you seven days of your steps. Each day will be different because you lose a day. So that means your seven days go back from today (Saturday) to last Sunday. Tomorrow last Sunday's steps will be gone from your seven days total which means you're losing steps due to this.
When the clock strikes midnight, it'll drop the total from last Sunday (which is why you'll see the drop in step total), and give you the sum of 01/06 to 01/12. So effectively, on every new day it'll drop one day (the one seven days ago) and adds today (which of course starts at zero, hence the drop in steps).
So, If you haven't synced your tracker for more than 7 days, that's why you're not seeing data on your leaderboard.
PS: I've moved your post to the Android App as there are more chances to get related replies here.
Hope this helps, let me know if you need further assistance!
