Ability to add a different device to a child account

My daughter just got an Alta HR, but when setting up her child account it will only let me add an Ace device. Is there there anyway to add a device other then an Ace? If not how do I get this setup for her as I don't think it will let me create her and account due to her age.

I'm afraid child accounts can only be created using the Ace tracker and, as you have discovered, the terms and conditions require that a person is at least 13 to create an adult account and this is checked when the date of birth is entered.

That is very unfortunate and very limiting of the tool. I could see some devices not be supported but to only allow one doesn't make sense.
