Hi there @Maxpax42, welcome aboard to our Fitbit Community. It been a few days since you posted here so I would like to ask, how it goes so far, is the issue still persisting?
Note that if you have your tracker paired with an iPad too, is not require to pair your tracker again with your Android; is just matter to log in with the same account. I don't recommend to uninstall the app since it may caused other type of issues.
Recently was released a new version of the Fitbit App for Android that now resemblance the appearance of the iOS app and improved stability, so I recommend to update the app to the most recent version. Once you have updated the app, I suggest to log out from your account and restart your Android device. Once it has loaded, log back in and give it another try.
