Active minutes are not being recorded

My fitbit continually zeros my active minutes. Any solution

Hello @Rugbybeard, great to see you have joined the Fitbit Community! My apologies for the late response and I'm wondering how it goes? Is the issue still persisting? If the issue still is happening, I wonder how you are tracking your exercise, or is this affecting any exercise in particular?

 

Essentially active minutes are a measurement of time spent doing activity that is more intense than regular walking. For more details please refer to this help article as a reference: What are active minutes?

 

If your exercises are not giving you any active minutes, a good to start addressing this issue is to perform a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Active minutes were fine when I disabled link from fitbit to strava. However yesterday my walk was 8.4 miles and fitbit only registered 5.3 miles and 12,000 steps when previous day it was about 18,000 steps.

I'll try the restart.
