My Fitbit showed active minutes at the end of my workout. When I manually logged the workout (because it was not auto recognized), my active minutes went away instead of being added to my total. This is a new development. Until three days ago, they always added correctly. I have reinstalled the app twice and have restarted my phone yup no avail.

Hello there @LizDixon,, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! What type of exercise you were practicing? As you know active minutes depends on the type of activity and intensity. Have this issue happening on a daily basis, or it was only one time occasion?
Manually logged activities override your tracker's data. Sometimes some users report a decrease in active minutes after logging an activity, which can occur if what your tracker recorded was more intense than what you logged, independently if the exercise was automatically recognized by your tracker or not.
For more details about active minutes, please refer to this article: What are active minutes?
Hope this helps. See you around until the next opportunity.
