Activity: Walking vs. Running

I used Fitbit exercise on my Pixel Watch 3 to do a run.  I accidentally pressed the "walk" icon instead of the "run" icon. Afterward I stopped the run. I got to my Android phone, opened the Fitbit app, and sync'd it with the watch.

Nothing showed up on the app.  Upon digging around I see a lot of steps, and the distance metric shows it, but there is no separate entry where I can see the walk.

Then I opened Strava and it shows that from Fitbit it has received a 'walk" activity, it had a GPS map of the route, the time, distance, and other metrics. So the Fitbit App did get the route map and all the details because it sync'd it to Strava, but I can't see those details on the Fitbit App itself? Is this true? Have I missed it?

When I didn't misunderstood what you said, you cancelled the training. It is the normal behavior, that you don't see it separately now.

If you desperately need it in Fitbit, you can add a manual training in the training section, choose running and provide the start and end time (if you can't remember, you can look in the other synced app training you mentioned). Fitbit has the steps and heart rate data for this time stored even if you cancelled the training before and should show you the detailed data in your manually added training. Maybe you need to refresh the server sync after saving the training by pulling down and release the Fitbit Startpage.

Thanks.  Not exactly the situation.

1) I clicked "walk" and then did a 5K run, and at the end I click "end" and then sync'd to the Fitbit app.

2) I opened the Fitbit app and didn't see my run listed under activity.  I did see that I had many more steps, but no details about the "walk" activity that I had done, within the Fitbit app.

3) I sync'd Fitbit with Strava.   I opened Strava and there was a "Morning Walk" it had a GPS map of the walk, and statistics like pace etc.

Q:  Since Fitbit sent all the statistics to Strava "Map, pace, etc."  Where would I go on the Fitbit app to see these details?  It did not show up under "activities"

Ok then I misread you, my bad. If you stop your training properly on the Charge, it SHOULD be synced to the app short after. Normally you find the details in the training section. As you stated, the training was synched to the other app and you see the steps, everything should have worked.

By the way, do you use the official app or the public preview (beta)? If it's the preview, maybe change back to the old (official) one, at least for me all my trainings are found in the training section as expected.

The last thing I can advise is to force stop the app and clean it's cache. Everything beyond is out of my knowledge...

Yes, out of our knowledge. Anyone else?

I use the original app.   I tried the preview several months ago, it was too broken, and I reverted back.
