Activity details not displayed on Fitbit app

I have a google pixel first gen watch and have noticed that I am not able to view activity details in the fitbit app.

All of my activities, regardless of activity type selected is shown as "intense", "moderate" activity etc. and I am not able to view the specifics of the activity, it just shows me when it started and how many zone minutes - which is no use to me.

Am I missing something with the app so I can view the details of workouts? Ever since the online dashboard closed my watch has become a glorified step counter.
