Add HTC mobile as Device

Hi, fitbit is in built in app in HTC butterfly2. Mobile acted as device but it stopped to sync one day. So I decided to remove the Htc Butterfly device in add device option in menu and planned to add it again. But unfortunately I am not seeing HTC butterfly2 option in add device menu. also noticed steps count, and distance option also disspeared in main dashboard after I remove the device. How can I make it work like before?

Welcome to the Community @Maseelan. Did you remove the tracker from your account? If you did, you just need to set it up one more time by doing the following from your computer:

1. Click the Fitbit Connect icon located near the date and time on your computer.
2. Click Open Main Menu.
3. Click Set Up A New Fitbit Device.
4. Click Existing User and log in to your account.
5. Choose your tracker and follow the onscreen instructions to continue.

About your phone, please check if it appears in our list of compatible mobile devices. If it is not there, it means that it's not compatible but you can always sync your tracker with a computer or compatible device. Now, if it compatible and it's not syncing, follow our syncing troubleshoot.

Let me know how it goes. Woman Happy

@Maseelan Hey there! That's correct HTC Butterfly2 isn't in the list of compatible devices. I think it was syncing before because some mobile devices sync even though they aren't compatible. However, at some point they stop syncing since they aren't compatible and haven't been tested at all.

Fitbit is always testing new mobile devices to add to the list Robot Happy

Thanks for your understanding.
