Age is incorrect and not receiving reminders to move

A few questions I need help with if anyone can help plz.

When setting up age it let me scroll through the months but didn't submit my age and so I'm showing as 29 and not 44 so readings won' be accurate. Would I need to try and set up again from scratch?

I can't get the notification to tell me when to move. How do I do this if notification is on?

Any help would be greatly received as technology is not one of my strong points.

Thanks

Hello @009yve, let me step in to offer you some help, but not before giving you a warm welcome to our Fitbit Community!

About your age information, I think is not necessary to start from scratch. Have you try to update the information after you created your account?

- Go to your Fitbit app and tap in your account tab

User-added image- Access to your profile by tapping in your profile picture

- Tap in the option of "Personal Stats"

- Here you can change your birthday so try again to enter the correct information.

About your other question, you are referring to "Reminders To Move".  You'll feel a vibration and see a reminder on your screen at 10 minutes before the hour if you haven't walked 250 steps. If you complete the steps within the hour, then your tracker won't alert you.

If you are not receiving this reminders, it would not hurt to try to review if this feature is Off. From the clock face, just press and hold the button to turn On the notifications, you can  repeat this when you want to turn them Off.

Hope this helps and let me know how it goes.
