Alexa don't hear me

I've had my fit bit versa 2 for almost 8 months and never had this problem! I cannot talk to Alexa or my watch to write messages! I can't ask Alexa to set an alarm. She acts like I'm not even talking and goes straight back to the talk to Alexa screen. And when I try to talk to have a message set up, it acts like it doesn't hear me also!

 I have soft restarted it many many times. I have done a shut down and turn back on, nothing. I have restarted my phone, nothing. I have rebooted my watch, nothing. What more can I possibly do!? 

 I can't set up alarms, reminders, messages, or ask other questions. She just doesn't hear me. 😡

Could there be dirt in the mike hole?

I would google "how to clean a cell phone speaker or microphone.

 

Or take the tracker to your cell phone store and ask them to clean it.

Sprint cleaned my phone speaker last week.

The only reason why i don't think it's dirt or some other obstruction in the listening port is because it won't listen to me even before i say something. The icons don't do what they would normally do if it was truly listening to me.

I'm having this issue, too.  I loved using my Versa 2 with Alexa, but now she just doesn't listen.
