All Day Sync not syncing all day

Running Android 6.0.1; I've verified that I have the latest version of the app and the latest firmware. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S3.

 

Using a Charge HR. I also have a Zip which I use occasionally when I can't have anything on my wrist, but I usually leave that at home.

 

I've got all-day sync turned on in the app but it does not seem to be working; I've verified that it will go at least three hours, possibly more, without syncing.

Have you looked through the main Marshmallow thread?

The only thing I'm aware of is that location services must be on. I don't know what happens if the phone can't find its location.
