Can't sync with Android 6.0

Just updated my phone to 6.0 yesterday and haven't been able to sync since. I've turned on location and given permission to the app to use it but it's been 20hrs and every sync I've tried to do has failed. I uninstalled and re-installed the app and all nothing.

Hi @MissBones013

Moved this thread from the Charge HR to the Android section since more relevant to the topic & increases the chance of getting a solution.

Also had sync issues after upgrading to Android 6.. only one thing worked:

Removing all bluetooth devices from the phone under the bluetooth settings & magically it started to sync again. Needing to relink any bluetooth devices afterwards when desired..

Hope it helps

If not already done, feel free restarting the tracker:

Restart the tracker

URL: Click / Tap to open the Fitbit Help Article 'How do I restart the tracker?'

With Android 6 the phone's location services must be on in order to sync. This is a limitation put in by Android and not Fitbit.

The other thing I would do . Is completely shut of the phone and turn it on. This is tyre only way to insure all hardware and software has restarted.

Then do tyre normal add device to your account.
