Hi  @William-F , I've never tried that. And actually never needed it.
Your right about seamless integration.

But a lot of android apps work bad on chromebook, like...eh.. most of them, made by Google. for me Chromebook is more a Chrome-browser-device. There's so much difference with e.g. the app Spreadsheet and the browser version (both by Google) or the app Maps and the browser version.
And I don't know anyone without a mobile phone.

At least the Fitbit-app works a bit, not well, just a bit.

Hello @William-F and welcome to the Community.  To be fair, I'm not sure what gets Fitbit's attention more, a petition like your link or a request in the Product Feedback forum.  There is an old request that is marked Not Currently Planned, but that decision was made long before Google bought Fitbit.  I think you should start a new request in the Product Feedback forum.  Include the petition link, so the developers can see how important this feature is.

Good luck.

@MarioDings @LZeeW Thanks for your input and advice.

@William-F I appreciate you taking the time to bring this to our attention. I also think it would be a good idea to post this under the "Product Feedback" board, where you can submit your ideas and share it with other members. The suggestions with more votes are taken into consideration by our developers for new updates or product development. Thanks in advance!

That would be nice, but currently Chrome OS, like your web browser, has little to no support for apps to communicate with Bluetooth connected devices.

Yes keyboards, mice, speakers and other controllers do connect, but this is handled by the OS, not an installed app.

I'm talking about chromebooks with native google play support google.com/chromebook/howto/enable-google-play-store/ change.org/fitbits-on-chromeos

if you dont know what I mean for chromebook android support check this page by google https://www.google.com/chromebook/howto/enable-google-play-store/ (it's an older page but proves it's supported natively for a while AND NOT ALL SUPPORT PLAYSTORE)
