Alta HR & Fitbit app not linking error | Android Oreo Update

After a recent update, there is a consistent error that shows that the app and the tracker are not linked. 

Could be an Android Oreo issue or a Fitbit issue, either way, I am unable to sync across various apps for the last few days. 

 

Is there going to be a solution anytime soon?
