It takes 2-3 minutes an multiple errors before my Alta HR syncs to my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, if it syncs at all. This is an ongoing issue. I got the device for Christmas 2017, it worked for about a month. After three months, Fitbit replaced it with a refurbished (used) tracker which now has the same issues. On top of the syncing issues, it doesn't track steps correctly. It just stops mid-walk and then starts back up 200-300 steps later. I am on a treadmill and can see how many steps I have and the fitbit just stops (today at 9746) while I continue for another 200-300 steps. Then it starts back up but never gives credit for the steps it missed. Clearly the life of a Fitbit Alta HR is about 3 months whether it is new or used. I will NEVER purchase another Fitbit tracker, nor will I recommend Fitbit to anyone.

Hi @BiscookZ, thanks for calling this issue out with your Alta HR. I saw it suddenly stops recording your steps count and start again in the middle of your exercise.
If the issue persists, I would recommend to perform a restart: How do I restart my Fitbit device?
Regarding the syncing issues, review this help article for some extra help:Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
I appreciate the feedback and let me know if the issue persists.
