Hello, why is the Alta.HR not compatible with the Samsung A5 . I can sync, but get no notification of messages on my tracker.

Hi there @Stephie5277, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! As you said, the A5 is not listed as compatible, which means we cannot guarantee all the features of the tracker or the app will be supported.
Nowadays most of the devices has all the hardware requirement to be compatible but some features might not work in some scenarios. It would hurt to give it a try to the troubleshooting steps to address the notifications: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates. To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.
