Alta HR won't sync

my Alta HR doesn't seem to be doing anything.

I have recently started wearing it again - set up a new account for this. My phone is up to date, and the app but it won't connect as a device or pair/sync. I have restarted the fitbit several times, and inputted the 'set up' code and still nothing. I have force stopped the app, turned off Bluetooth and tried everything and it still wont connect. it also wont show steps on my dashboard, and there isn't an option to show it on the edit button. Probably going to give up and buy a new better one, but its frustrating as not even had it a year.

I very much appreciate all the time you took to try those steps before getting in touch with us! Let me help you out.

 

First I'd like to ask some questions:

  • What phone are you using to sync? 
  • Do you get any sort of error message when you try to run the setup?

In the meantime, if you have any other device (computer or phone) you could run the setup process in that device while we work on getting your phone to do it.
