Connected my new Alta HR device via Android app.At first the device registered steps but is now registering km instead, even though it is showing steps on the app.How can I make the device revert to registering steps?

Are you sure it's not showing steps? If the Alta is in portrait mode there is not enough room to display the full step count so it has to abbreviate it e.g. 4500 steps show as 4.5 k

 

If you would prefer to see the full step count then you need to have the display in landscape mode.
