Hi there @BlazeNewbie, good to see you have joined to the Fitbit Community! In this case we have to consider the phone you are using does not figure among the list of compatible devices. The difference with compatible and not compatible devices is that the app is not optimized to work under the specification of the phone in question.
However this doesn't mean it won't work at all, but we cannot guarantee its behavior with certain features. So based on this it would not hurt to try the following troubleshooting steps: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
