Alta not syncing

 After reading several posts  I find it that I am not the only one to have this issue with my Alta not syncing to my Samsung. It did before they did a software update happened  which has left the Alta  not able to work to its full potential. After 6 weeks of emails (around  60) and being completely frustrated and upset with the way that the Fitbit team area handling this issue.  They are saying that the phone is not compatible. ..but it was before.  I have decided to take to social media and leave honesty opinion about Fitbit.

Seemingly my fit bit was never compatible with my phone in the first
place. ..strange that it worked for 2 yrs though !

I was reading your post and I can understand your frustration regarding the syncing issue you are experiencing. With non compatible mobile devices, is not an statement that the app is not going to work.

 

The difference here, since the app is not optimized to run with the device in question, is possible it presents some issues at the moment to operate, like syncing your information to give you an example. Is important to mention since this is not an statement that the app is not going to work. is likely the app present some fails with future updates.

 

Despite this is not the best solution, I suggest setting up and syncing via a device listed as supported or using a computer as an alternative when your phone fails to sync. Our team is always working to test and add more Android devices to the supported devices list, so keep an eye open for updates!

However I don't have access to any other device this is why I am
frustrated.

I have just received my fitbit alta he, yay! Except once I charged it and downloaded the app I couldn't get it to connect to my phone, I have been trying over and over and no luck :- (

Please help!

Sadly my fit bit not syncing had not been solved.

I no longer use my fit bit.

Hi there mine was doing the same thing. Here is what I did...1. Press the small button on your recharge cord, while plugged in, 3 times, one click every 2 seconds.2. Turn off the Bluetooth to your app.3. Delete your Alta uninstall & reinstall your App.2. Then, if this does not work, I called their Customer Service

Totally agree my fit bit altra worked fine with my Samsung until the update. Had 3 fit bit updates since but still isn't rectified help desk are useless when I said I had uploaded app to my I pad and was working fine but obviously didn't have this with me throughout the day like my phone so could only sync morning and night their response was that is all you need to do as saves battery life! ! The whole reason for it is to track your progress throughout the day surely! !

 

Extremely frustrated and totally taken the enjoyment out of this product! !

 

GET IT SORTED FIT BIT! !!!
