Hello @pruplebear!

I'd like to take a closer look into what could be causing your Alta to not sync. Please follow these steps:

  1. Being charging your Fitbit Alta.
  2. Press the button on your charging cable three times within eight seconds The button is on the end of the charging cable that is plugged into your computer.
  3. The Fitbit should then restart.

After the restart please try to sync once again. In the meantime, please answer the following questions:

  • What is the model for the mobile device that you are using?
  • Do you get any error message when you try to sync?
  • Have synced with any other device recently?

Look forward to your reply so that we can determine the best way to move forward.

I have rest the tracker Like that couple of times. Today I only had the issue once.  I don't have it syncing to any other devices.  I am using a HTC desire 626 and the app says tea let not found.

Today I just had to close the app turn off Bluetooth turn Bluetooth back on then reopen the app.   Thanks for getting back to me.

Hello @pruplebear!

It seems that the issue is that your mobile device is not currently a supported device. Because of this, we cannot guarantee that the app will function perfectly on your mobile. While it might work from time to time, issues are expected.

Perhaps you could use a different mobile device that is on the list in order to sync your Fitbit. Additionally, you could use a computer.

Let me know if you have nay further questions!
