I got a new Huawei PSmart phone. My fitbit Alta does not connect with new phone.

It's possible that this phone may not be supported by fitbit.
It's not on the list of supported devices at www.fitbit.com/devices This could mean either that it has been tested and shown to not work or that it just hasn't been tested.
Did you remove any bluetooth link to the fitbit from your old phone that may have been blocking connection to your new phone?
I did a quick search and couldn't find other posts relating to this phone. Hopefully someone that previously tried using it will post here with their findings.

Hi, welcome to the forums @3h, it's good to see you around.
As @SteveH already mentioned, the difficulties you've been experiencing to sync could be related to phone not being listed as compatible device yet. I do recommend that you look for your specific phone model on this list.
You can also try all the steps provided here, they have been helpful to other people who have experienced trouble to sync with their mobile devices. However, please not that if the phone is not official listed as compatible, it can't be guaranteed that syncing and other features will work properly.
