Alternating 2 devices won't sync both at same time since updates

Android 6.01, Fitbit app 2.29. Have tried turning off Bluetooth and back on to get sync on both devices. Stopped and started app. Mostly only after restart can I get both devices to sync. This kink was around before and then cleared up but since update to 6.01 been buggy. I have an Alta and a One and i wear the One during the day and Alta in evening. Anyone have any tricks to force the sync without restating?

Hi, @lisag0209, I don't do a restart, but I do find that I need to repeatedly press the sync now button on the app before I can get two trackers to sync completely and coordinate numbers.  It has sometimes taken me as long as 10 minutes, so I try not to be in a hurry and do my tracker switch while I am checking emails or facebook (or the Fitbit Community!) and I just keep telling them to sync until they finally do...  I know this is probably not much help!

It's amazing to see you around the Community Forums @lisag0209 Smiley Very Happy! If you receive call, text, or calendar notifications on your Fitbit tracker, your tracker has a Bluetooth "bond" with the mobile device that sends the notifications. This bond prevents the tracker from syncing with another mobile device or a computer.

To quickly and temporarily disable the bond, turn off Bluetooth on your mobile device. You can turn it back on later to resume syncing.

If you no longer use notifications, remove the bond:

  1. Go to Settings > Bluetooth on your mobile device to to see a list of associated Bluetooth devices. This list might contain only your Fitbit tracker or also include devices like wireless speakers, headsets, etc.
  2. Tap your tracker and choose "Forget This Device" or "Disconnect" (exact language will differ depending on your operating system).

Thanks for helping out my dear @Julia_G

Hope that helps!
