Blaze does not connect to phone

When I choose "Hike" as an activity on my Blaze I get a message "Connecting to phone".  That works about one in three times.  Ususally I get a message saying phone not found.  The phone is an LG Nexus 5X running the latest version of Android and is my hand or my pocket at the time.

It's nice to see you around @bpetillo, hope you're doing good! I agree with my friend @Rich_LaueIf you have an iPhone or Android you have to go into your "Location Service" settings.  There you will go to the fitbit app and make sure it can use your location "Always." I had the same issue where it wasn't connecting for the GPS and after I did that it worked great.

Plus, please try the following:

  • Log out of your Fitbit App
  • Force quit the App
  • Turn off the Bluetooth
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes
  • Turn on the Bluetooth
  • Log back into your Fitbit App

Let us know if that works!
