An apology...

I started off here on the wrong foot. I was taking other things into account. Still tenuous paths ahead, but.. not as I had lamented.

When I first got my Charge 3, the fitbit app would reluctantly connect. Not sure why, but I took a leaf out of the samsung and d-link books that I've unfortunately read, applied some logitech logic and came to a stubborn conclusion. I said things out of anger and haste that I would not have otherwise said, and felt compelled.

But as it is now a month or more later, I've come to actually see the merit in this thing. there are nuances I would never have even conceptualised, that give me insight. It seems to sync better (apart from when I get the fitbit.com is down error, which seems sporadic) and the data I am seeing in the app is something of an eye opened.

I'm not a runner, biker, lifter, etc.. I just walk a lot. I sleep terribly. I am not your average user, I suppose.

But my haste in seeing this as a fail, failure, and faulty, was in concert with every other expensive device I had purchased... none of them developed to be something I actually now use, daily..

So I apologise to the team members here, and certain members, who I had felt compelled to be irate at...

Does what it says on the box.. But don't tell new members, people with already an ire in their mind, that it's a problem between the user and the device.. walk them through it, even if they're corrosive... some people, you don't know who, have been stung so many times, everything is a bee.

Cheers fitbit, but make the android interface more like the win10 one 🙂  albeit the win10 one just wont sync no matter what... user error??

Steve.

Hi @SunsetRunner  first apology I've seen on the forums. I went back to read your posts and your anger and frustration showed. Yet you didn't return the Fitbit and you see the merits of having it. Patience is often all it takes and sometimes it's hard to wait for things to settle down and work as you'd like. As for being the average user, who is? We're all individuals and each of us have our own goals and reasons to join the Fitbit Lifestyle. "Everything is a bee." That makes sense to me and it's true. We don't know what someone else has experienced. All any of us can do is keep moving forward on our journey. Wishing you well @SunsetRunner on your own path.

IMO, frustration with FitBit and the inability to synch (especially with the new Samsung 10 series) is 100% justified.
