Android App Won't Allow Me to Sign In

Since yesterday, my app (version 2.60) opens to the join or log-in screen. When I try to log in, it indicates "Invalid email or password." When I select "forgot password?" and click on "send reset email," it brings up a message that reads, "Network operation failed. No network connection. Please check your settings."

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, clearing the data and cache, and a force stop. Nothing works. I can log-in via the website and sync via the dongle connected to my computer.

Hi there @kippee, let me start by giving you a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community! I have a similar issue before and I was able to gain access to my app by changing the password. But I tried this from  the web-dashboard and not the app.

If you haven't already done so, please give it a try:

  1. Go to www.fitbit.com/login.
  2. Click the blue Forgot Password link.
  3. Enter your email address and click Submit. A link where you can reset your password will be sent to your email address.
  4. Go to your email inbox and click the link in the email.
  5. Enter your new password and click Set. You'll need to enter your password here and then once again to log into your account. Keep this in mind and be sure to enter your password correctly both times.

Turning Off and On the WiFi mobile internet has worked also for some users experiencing the same.

Hope this helps and let me know if the issue persists.
