After numerous restarts, uninstalls, disabling\enabling Bluetooth, continued problems synching AltaHR to Android Samsung cell phone.
Solution - Installed Fitbit app on Lenovo Windows 10 machine - 1. Paired device through laptop’s hardware setting 2. Logged in through Fitbit app 3. Connected Fitbit to laptop 4. Checked pairing on cell, launched Fitbit app, device synching started working on phone again.
Reason why accessing account and synching Fitbit to laptop resolves issues on phone is unknown, but wanted to share as spent several hours trying to get synch to work.
