Android Widget not showing primary goal

I added the Android primary goal widget to my homescreen, and although my primary goal is set as active minutes in the Fitbit app, the daily step count is shown in the widget.

 

Is there a way to get the primary goal widget to actually show the primary goal that's set in the app?

I'm having this issue too, it forces view of calories no matter which primary goal is set. Really frustrating that I can't see steps as before the app update.
