Starting about 3 days ago the macros in the Fitbit app are WAY off. They appear to be around triple what they should be. Any help would be appreciated as I rely on macro tracking heavily.

I found a correlation between changing timezones and macro inaccuracy. A complete reinstall of Fitbit seemed to resolve the issue (though I wouldn't count this as a "fix"). I travel a lot and each time I'd go to a new time zone, the macros go crazy. For clarification, the macros logged in the food section of the app were so grossly wrong that they become useless.

 

A complete reinstall each and every time I change timezones seems to be a work around for now.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please try the following steps and let me know if the issue persists:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.

Thanks for the reply! I've done these steps and they do not resolve the issue. I am using a Google Pixel 3. 

It started about 4 days ago for the first time and hasn't resolved itself since. Everything is up to date.
