How do I get the app to go not run all the time? I recently switched to a new phone and installed the app but it seems to run all the time.

There is a part of the app that needs to be running in the background.
This handles the connected Bluetooth, weather requests, sends notifications, etc
If you want to stop it, you would do this through the phones settings, apps, Fitbit, stop app.

Hi @Mcallan1956, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To better assist you with this, can you please specify which phone are you using? Just as @Rich_Laue mentioned, the Fitbit app will work on the background due to the features of your Fitbit device. You can also learn more about this on our help article: What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?
Let me know if you have any additional questions.
