Android app update made persistent notification... persistent

Hello! After yesterday's update, and even though I've turned everything off - daily sync, widget, what have you - I have a notification always in my notification drawer (Android 9). What's more, it has possibly broken the rules and even if I choose 'minimize' in the notification options, it's always there! Anyone else experienced this?

Thanks for the reply indeed.

 

The article he links to doesn't work (probably with Android 9), but I found a solution. As I said, the notification doesn't respect the minimizing from the notification options, but if you press the information icon when having dragged the notification itself you can uncheck the Sync notification alone. Voila, it's gone.

 

Seems like they can't fix one thing without breaking another...
