Android users with Syncing/Notification issues READ THIS

Judging by these forums a LOT of people are having issues with their devices losing sync with the phone, getting "Bluetooth Connectivity issues" errors and not receiving notifications. I too have had massive issues, spent a lot of time with Fitbit's very helpful support staff and even eventually had my Charge3 replaced.

However, even replacing the device didn't solve the issue, and I now suspect that culprit lies in the Fitbit app itself. The reason for this conclusion is that while researching this issue, I came across mention of an app in the Play Store called Sync Fix for Fitbit and Huawei/Honor Phones. Even though I had a different model phone (Asus Zenfone3) I decided to try the free trial period and this app has single-handedly solved ALL of my Fitbit connectivity issues!

Data syncs regularly, when I prompt it to, notifications come through reliably, basically my Charge 3 now works as it should.

As the app developer points out, there's no guarantee this will work with all phones, but as it's free to try out (and only $6 for the full version) it's certainly worth a try.

To be honest, I don't love the idea that I need a 3rd party fix for this, nor that I have to shell out more money to get this thing working right especially when the very existence of this app proves that the issue is a software one, and one that a single developer was able to track down and fix for a large number of devices. That said, if it works, I'm willing to compensate clever people making my life easier. 😛

Fitbit, consider getting this guy on payroll maybe? He seems to know his stuff. Good luck, everyone!

Hello @Versapolis!

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and all of those details on the matter.

Glad to read that you found that this app helped you! I'm sure that other users will find it useful.

I'd like to mention that the app you talked about is not a Fitbit developed app and thus we cannot guarantee its functionality or how safe the app is. That is not to say that the app will not work, however we cannot vouch for its effectiveness.

Feel free to reach out with any further questions.

What do you suggest gor Samsung users ... I  no longer get any notifications despite setting everything up  ... sync works just not the notifications  ... I  especially miss the "nudge" to move
