AndroidApp only showing "-- bpm on Resting Heart Rate" - No data is syncing from watch

Apologies about asking this but I have yet to find an answer to this question in the forums or help articles.  I am also very new to the forums and the hardware/apps.

I currently have a pixel watch paired to a pixel phone 7 pro.  All measurements from the phone watch appear on the phone and synch with the app except for Heart Rate and Resting Heart Rate.  Heart Rate and Resting Heart Rate do show on the phone watch but do not sync to the app on the phone.  I cannot see these 2 measures either in the phone app on the dashboard tile, or when I click on the tile to drill down.  I also note that when I go to my health metrics dashboard in the phone app and select Heart rate variability there is not data for the past seven days (the number of days I have been wearing the device).

I have tried all the trouble shooting steps re blue tooth, hard closes, reinstalling apps, updating the app on the watch, loosening/tightening the watch, using different wrists.  I have reset the watch 4 times in the course of these endeavors.

Given that all the other measures do appear on the watch and do sync successfully, why is just these two measures that don't?  The fact that the other's do sync regularly makes me think it is not a sync issue but something else.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

@YojanaFitbit many thanks for getting back to me, I appreciate it.

As an FYI I did contact Google pixel support as per @LokeAa 's advice.  Google does not believe it is a hardware issue as all the metrics display on the watch either in Google tiles or in the Fitbit today app on the watch.  It is only an issue re BPM etc on the Phone app.

I have also tried the fix mentioned in reddit r/pixelwatch.  This did not work for me Pixel watch not syncing heart rate data to Fitbit app : PixelWatch (reddit.com)

In the end I raised a formal support ticket with Fitbit support.  I have provided them with phone screen shots of the Fitbit phone app as well as photos of the watch face displaying all the correct BPM datasets/metrics etc in the Fitbit today App. They are looking into this and will get back to me

@als.aire and @Akambience please contact me if you would like my helpdesk ticket number.  That way if you do wish to raise a formal ticket it can be linked to mine.

Many thanks MT

I'm having the same issue. Did you ever figure it out?

Hi @Mdcfrx , I never did figure it out and fitbit support never got back me to after the initial screen shots I sent in.  Having said that I bought the watch as I had just had some atrial fibrillation issues which I thought had been fixed with medication.  Long story short I had not been fixed and I was asymptomatic meaning I could not tell if my heart was still fibrillating. I have since had cardiac ablation and my resting heart rate and pulse is much more normal.  I suspect that because I was still fibrillating (about 160 BPM and even higher sometimes) the watch could not handle this, e was not in range.  Since the procedure the watch now works perfectly with regard to RHR.

Thanks for the response. I tried to be patient, and after about 5 days of wearing the watch, it finally showed up, so I am guessing it just needed to learn my body before it showed the results.
